September 26 | 1:00 PM | Rancho Cucamonga, CA | $25

Does This Sound Familiar?

You want to stay calm when things get tense but sometimes your emotions get the better of you.

You try to communicate but conversations with your wife or kids can quickly turn into arguments, defensiveness, or silence.

You know the kind of husband and father you want to be. The challenge is showing up that way when the pressure is on.

You don’t need another parenting technique. You need a better way to lead yourself in the moments that matter most.

What You’ll Learn

In this live workshop, you’ll learn practical ways to lead yourself well when emotions rise so you can stay connected to the people who matter most.

Stay Calm Under Pressure

Recognize what’s happening inside you before frustration takes over, and learn how to respond with intention instead of reacting in the moment.

Communicate Without Escalating

Learn how to approach difficult conversations in a way that lowers defensiveness and creates more room for understanding and connection.

Lead From Connection

Discover how calm, intentional leadership can strengthen trust with your wife and kids without trying to control the conversation or force an outcome.

You’ll leave with tools you can begin using the same day.

The Problem Isn’t That You Don’t Care

You already know the kind of husband and father you want to be.

Patient. Present. Steady. Someone your wife and kids can talk to without wondering how you’ll react.

The problem is that knowing how you want to respond and actually responding that way under pressure are two very different things.

When frustration rises, we fall back on familiar patterns. We push harder. Get defensive. Shut down. Or say something we wish we could take back.

And afterward, we wonder:

“Why do I keep reacting this way when I know better?”

Because lasting change doesn’t start with finding the perfect words.

It starts with learning how to lead yourself before you try to lead the conversation.

That’s what we’ll work on together in Calm & Connected.

I Know What It’s Like to Lead Under Pressure

For 23 years as an Army officer, I learned a lot about leadership under pressure. But some of the most challenging leadership moments I’ve faced haven’t happened in uniform.

They’ve happened at home.

As a husband and father, I know what it’s like to want to respond with patience and wisdom—and still find yourself frustrated, defensive, or reacting in ways you wish you hadn’t.

I’ve learned that leading your family well isn’t about having all the answers or always getting it right. It starts with learning to recognize what’s happening inside you so you can choose how you want to show up for the people you love most.

Today, I help Christian fathers do exactly that: lead themselves with greater calm, communicate with greater intention, and build deeper connection with their wives and kids.

Calm & Connected brings those lessons together into practical tools you can start using the same day.

This Workshop Is For You If…

  • You love your family but sometimes your frustration gets the better of you.
You walk away from certain conversations wishing you had handled them differently.

  • You’re tired of repeating the same patterns when tension rises.
You’ve tried being more patient or choosing better words but under pressure you still find yourself reacting.

  • You want your wife and kids to feel safe talking to you.
Not because you’ll always agree but because they know you’ll listen before you react.

  • You want to lead without controlling.
You want to bring strength and steadiness without pushing harder when things aren’t going your way.

  • You know the change has to start with you.
You’re less interested in fixing everyone else and more interested in becoming the husband and father you know you’re called to be.

  • Your faith matters to how you lead your family.
You want practical tools that complement your Christian values and help you live them out when family life gets difficult.

You don’t have to be a perfect husband or father to belong in this room. You just have to be willing to grow.

What To Expect

Practical, Not Theoretical

We’ll take the ideas we discuss and connect them to the real conversations and pressure points you face at home.

A Space to Learn, Not Perform

You won’t be put on the spot or expected to share anything you don’t want to. Come ready to listen, reflect, and engage at your own pace.

Tools You Can Actually Use

You’ll leave with simple ways to recognize what’s happening inside you, reset when emotions rise, and respond with greater intention.

Bring yourself, something to take notes with, and a willingness to look at leadership at home a little differently.
